Art and Wine Tour in Moravia, Czech Republic

INTO member organisation, the Friends of Czech Heritage, are organising an Art and Wine Tour in Moravia in September.  More information is available here.

The Czech Republic boasts a remarkably rich artistic and architectural heritage, with fine examples from every period of history. This tour will focus on Moravia; in addition to the many fine buildings, the region also possesses a wine industry that has made great strides in recent years. We shall be visiting a wide selection of the great houses, palaces and churches, guided by expert, leading conservators, and gaining access to parts  of some buildings that are not generally open. The tour will take us to wine-growing locations and wineries, giving participants a chance to see not only many sites  of interest, but also the beautiful countryside of the region, with a chance to taste a wide selection of its very appealing wines.
