Sharing experience in Saint Helena

INTO volunteer and NTEWNI Solicitor, Tim Butler, arrived safely in the South Atlantic after a 5 day voyage from Cape Town.

The Saint Helena National Trust has provided accommodation and Tim is getting involved in a variety of things.  His main focus is helping the new Director, Jeremy Harris, to put the Trust’s work with built heritage on a more robust footing – establishing where the common interests of government (who own most of it) and the Trust lie.  He is also looking at the arrangements for the Trust’s subsidiary company, which it is hoped will be the principal generator of funds in the medium term.
