INTO Foundation makes first donations

We were delighted to make our first donation from the INTO Foundation in 2012 towards the forthcoming conference in Uganda, which was soon followed by a grant of €18,000 to the National Trust of Slovakia towards the establishment of their Cultural Heritage Centre in Bratislava.

The INTO Foundation was established with a generous first donation from our first Amicus, Mr Rodney Davidson AO OBE, former chairman of the Australian Council of National Trusts.   A long-term INTO enthusiast, Mr Davidson wanted to establish a capital fund that would enable INTO to further its objectives.

Pending the establishment of the INTO Foundation, Mr Davidson also made a donation of Aus.$20,000 to INTO for the Central European Project.

We celebrated the achievements of the National Trust of Slovakia in 2016 when they celebrated their 20th anniversary in their new Heritage Centre!
