TAP-INTO grants to support member development

Building on the success of our Incubator programme, we are offering small grants to INTO members who would like to develop their operations in one of four key categories. 

Funds are available to cover any reasonable cost associated with this activity. Costs supported must be new costs to the organisation. The maximum grant available is £1,000.

Recipients must be members of INTO in good standing. Associate members and candidate members are eligible in this round.

Please read the guidance below for information on eligibility of costs and the grants timeline.

Eligibility

Funding can be claimed for new costs associated with a project that will develop an INTO member’s approach to one of four themes.

These themes are:

• Membership programmes. You may wish to develop your offer to your existing members or attract new members.
• Volunteering programmes. You may wish to reach out to new potential volunteers, lay the foundations for a new programme that will bring volunteers to you or perhaps create a new space for volunteers to use at your site.
• Commercial operations. You may wish to carry out feasibility studies for a new commercial venture, or trial a new partnership.
• Visitor experience. You may wish to improve the visitor experience to your sites in a way that will contribute to one of the above themes.

If we receive more applications than we can support, we will prioritise the applications according to the level of need, expressed in the ‘statement of need’ in the application. We reserve the right to make partial awards.

We will prioritise applications from members that not already received a grant from INTO in 2020.
