Camino Day 1 Ferrol to Pontedeume

We were fortunate to be able to spend Day 0-1 (Yesterday) in the town of Coruna where we found the portion of the Camino that begins there.

Day one actually began on Day 0, Sunday September 14th when we all began to arrive in Ferrol. Gerie and I arrived by train from Coruna, a comfortable 1.25 hr trip. (And very fairly priced at 6 euros each). We arrived at the train station and were greeted by this welcoming sign.

We are established in a beautiful small hotel the “Hotel El Suizo”
More to follow as the way becomes clear.

Day One Begins:
7:45 am meeting at Puerto de Curuxeiras, then to the Arsenal for guided tour, then 8:30 Breakfast at Exponave and Meeting with Mayor of Ferrol and the President of Diputacion da Coruna.
