    This holiday will now take place in 2021

    Krásný Dvůr is a large estate that once belonged to the Czernin family and is now in the care of the Czech National Heritage Institute. The estate is famous for its Renaissance Manor and beautiful landscaped gardens, which have been developed over the centuries. Volunteers will help with the restoration of the historic Gamekeeper’s cottage. During the week there will be an excursion to places and historic buildings in the vicinity. No prior skills are required, although participants will need to have a good level of fitness. Age 20+.

    Meeting point: Participants will be met at Prague airport on the first day of the holiday.

    Accommodation: You’ll stay in a local pension in single or shared ensuite twin-bedded rooms. Lunch and dinner will be at other venues.

    This working holiday is run by The Friends of Czech Heritage, a UK-based charity set up twelve years ago to raise awareness of historic buildings, artefacts, gardens and parks in the Czech Republic.
