We are delighted to have been invited to participate in a debate hosted by INTO members, Union REMPART as part of the 2018 International Heritage Fair.

Each year, REMPART offers to more than 3,500 people from France and abroad an experience of heritage through participatory, collective and civic action. Because heritage has no borders, REMPART and its European partners exchange and propose projects that help to ground a common culture through the implementation of non-formal education projects.

This conference proposes to highlight the contributions of the organized civil society for a Europe of heritage, in which everyone has a space. From the British national trusts model to that of a group of Italian militants mobilized for a cement factory, there is a gap and yet … By launching an ERASMUS of the Heritage, REMPART and 14 European partners intend to reduce the distances between citizens and heritage.

The discussion will take place on Saturday 27 October from 2.15pm to 3.45pm at the Studio-Théâtre de la Comédie- Française – Galerie du Carrousel du Louvre, 99 rue de Rivoli, Paris

It will be chaired by Mr Fabrice Duffaud, National Delegate for International Affairs, Union REMPART, and will feature the following speakers:

*Mrs Laura Soulard – Archeologist from Adichats, member of REMPART (France)

*Mr Francesco Fulvi – Architect, ERASMUS partner of REMPART, and project holder of Manufactura Urbana (Italy)

*Mrs Catherine Leonard – Secretary-General of INTO, International National Trust Organisation (UK)

*Mr Przemyslaw Nocun, Chairman of the Siedlęcin Ducal Tower Association, Professor of Archaeology (Poland)

*Mrs Orane Proisy, Head of the Heritage Networks and Museums Sector, Department of International and European affairs, Ministry of Culture (France)

Do get in touch if you would like to attend and/or to find out more!
