    TREVOR JOHNSON INTO AMICUS

Trevor Johnson has been contributing to his community all his life. Over 15 years ago, Trevor decided to volunteer with the National Trust in the Shropshire Hills. Trevor joined the volunteer team at the Carding Mill Valley (near Church Stretton). The volunteer work that Trevor does is mostly countryside maintenance, trail maintenante, brush clearing and construction projects. Trevor is a strong advocate for the National Trust and never passes an opportunity to speak to visitors about it and to encourage them to join and support it.

Trevor Johnson receives long service award from Marcus Halliwell.

On May 8th I had the privilege of attending an awards ceremony held in this place that Trevor so loves where Marcus Halliwell, General Manager for South Shropshire and Kinver Edge presented a certificate and long service pin to Trevor celebrating his over 15 years of dedication to the Trust. It was a beautiful day at the top of The Long Mynd with the valleys stretching out below on both sides.

Trevor has been involved with INTO since he became aware of our existence. He attended the ICNT in Cambridge (where he became an Amicus member) and most recently in Bali (where he gave a brilliant presentation on the work of volunteers).
INTO is very fortunate to have Trevor as an Amicus.
