INTO Conference 2019 in Bermuda (18th ICNT)

The next INTO Conference will hosted by the National Trust of Bermuda from Wednesday March 27th through Saturday March 30, 2019  (INTO Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday March 26th)

What is ICNT?

Since the 1970s, the International Conference of National Trusts has gathered people from across the globe in a spirit of co-operation and comradeship. It was last held in Bermuda thirty years ago, when delegates first advocated keeping in closer contact between conferences: A conversation that eventually led to the establishment of INTO in 2007.

The ICNT remains at the heart of what we do and is an invaluable opportunity for members of the INTO family to gain insights from their peers in over 50 countries and territories.  We are a diverse group but our members all share the same ideal, goals and challenges, and through INTO are able to learn from each other, cooperate and innovate.

Do also come along to the INTO Congress to find out more about what we do and to hear about our new capacity building programme which could help fund future collaborations, based upon contacts made at the ICNT!

Our deliberations this week will not only encourage new thinking within the National Trust movement on how to be more multicultural and inclusive, but will also find solutions to address issues of environmental conservation; making history and heritage meaningful in a digital world; building membership and volunteerism among younger people; and ensuring that the heritage preserved by National Trusts fully reflects our communities.
